Everything in the building is either coming or going. Walk in and you will see saws being built, welders on stainless, the CNC table cutting out water tanks, and the clean room where Roto-Rays are built. From Lemoyne, PA, we support departments across the East Coast, the country, and beyond.

Built to work the first time

Founded in 2009 by two firefighters, one career and one volunteer. The shop still runs on first responders and tradesmen who know a tool has to work the first time.

An authorized service center for Cutters Edge, Husqvarna, and FIRECOM. We repair to OEM spec with parts guaranteed to fit, so warranties stay intact.

Our story

From a saw shopto a builder.

EFES was never planned as a manufacturer. It grew there, one product line at a time, because we believed we had something useful to offer the fire service.

2009

Started as a saw shop

Two firefighters open a distribution and service center for Cutters Edge and Husqvarna fire rescue saws.

2016

Merged with RSI-Fire

The merger added FIRECOM and Sonetics communication systems, along with portable pump and skid-unit service.

2019

We picked up where Cutters Edge left off

When they closed their doors, we built direct replacement parts, moved their Oregon production lead east, and relaunched the line we'd run since the 1990s as Truckman's Choice.

2025

Roto-Rays comes to Lemoyne

EFES entered an exclusive licensing and transition agreement with the Slepetz family to manufacture, distribute, and service Roto-Rays in Lemoyne, PA.

Today

A builder, not a middleman

Truckman's Choice saws, Blue Mountain skid units and tanks, FIRECOM and Sonetics comms, and OEM parts and service. Most of what leaves the building, we build.

A legacy in production · October 2025

Keeping
Roto-Raysspinning.

In October 2025, EFES entered an exclusive licensing and transition agreement with the Slepetz family to manufacture, distribute, and service Roto-Rays. Production and service moved to Lemoyne, where every light is now built by hand.
