A UTV skid unit is a package, not a part number: a UV-resistant polypropylene tank in a custom size, a pump, plumbing and discharges, a booster hose reel, storage, and — if you want it — a litter position and an attendant seat. You choose the pieces. We build the skid around your machine's bed.
Fit and payload+
Every build starts with the vehicle, not the tank. Bring the make, model, and model year, the inside dimensions of the bed, and the manufacturer's published cargo box and total payload ratings for your machine. Water alone weighs about 8.34 pounds per gallon, so tank size is a weight decision before it is a water decision.

Our UTV skid units are customizable to give you both firefighting capability and patient transport. We offer custom tank sizes constructed from UV-resistant polypropylene for lightweight and durability, and every tank comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
One machine covers two calls your engine cannot reach. Water, a pump, and a booster reel handle the trail fire, the field fire, the mulch pile behind the ball park. A litter position and an attendant seat handle the injured hiker, the rider down at the track, the patient at the far end of a festival ground. Same bed, same two crew members, no second vehicle to staff.
That is firefighting capability and patient transport, and no more — it is not an ambulance, it is not built to a ground-ambulance standard, and nothing here is a licensing claim. A UTV bed is a hard limit, and water is heavier than most committees expect when they start sketching. Three numbers decide the build:
