Services

Getting you backin service.

When a saw, headset, or warning light goes out of service, response suffers. EFES exists to shorten that gap. We repair, recondition, and support the life-safety equipment departments run, from our shop in Lemoyne, PA, just outside Harrisburg.

01Fire Rescue Saw Service

A saw that won't start is a crew stuck on the roof.

A fire rescue saw that will not start, bogs under load, or fails to hold torque slows ventilation and puts the crew behind the job.

EFES overhauls and maintains fire rescue saws with OEM parts guaranteed to fit, so they start on the first pull and hold torque in heat and smoke.

The Lemoyne service team supports Cutters Edge, Truckman's Choice, Tempest / Ventmaster, Husqvarna, Jonsered, and Redmax rescue saws.

As an authorized FIRECOM dealer, EFES repairs headsets and sends mobile diagnostics straight to your station across PA, MD, and NJ, so the truck never has to leave the house.

Service covers depot headset repair, battery and boom replacement, wired intercom troubleshooting, wireless pairing, and apparatus diagnostics.

04Bullet & Carbide-Tipped Chain Reconditioning

A dull carbide chain means slow cuts and dangerous kickback.

A dull or damaged carbide chain slows roof work, increases vibration, and can create dangerous kickback when crews need predictable cutting.

EFES sharpens and reconditions Bullet Chains and other carbide-tipped chains, replacing fractured cutters and restoring the low-kickback bite, better than new.

Every chain is evaluated for cutter damage, link condition, and whether reconditioning or replacement is the better department decision.

Bullet Chains

Carbide-tipped ventilation chains

Fractured cutters

Damaged carbide teeth

Low-kickback performance

Restore predictable bite and tracking
