Product overview
The 210 intercom system is specifically designed for vehicles with two crew members. You get the same advanced features and the proven performance of Firecom's larger systems, without paying extra for options you do not need. The 210 enhances communication and protects your crew from hearing loss.
The 210 connects two headsets, both with radio transmit, to a single mobile radio interface port on 12V nominal power. It suits volunteer departments, brush trucks, command vehicles, tankers and more.
The 210 provides continuous radio monitoring, interfaces directly with the mobile radio and has separate bias and gain controls. It will not disable the existing speaker or handheld microphone. Two-person radio transmit
Both positions can transmit on the connected mobile radio. This is the difference from the 110 Radio Interface, which supports a single headset or base station connection.
Radio interface jack
A 9-pin D-Sub connector for a mobile radio interface cable. The 210 interfaces directly with a mobile radio.
12V nominal power
Runs from a 12V nominal power supply, +11.5 VDC to +15 VDC. A 2-pin power connector connects the unit to the vehicle's power supply.
Mobile radio interface cable
The interface cable is specific to the radio. Firecom has interface cables for virtually every mobile or handheld radio ever made, including Bendix King, Harris, ICOM, Kenwood and Motorola. Send us the make and model and we will confirm the cable.
System configuration
The 210 mounts easily and cleanly below the dashboard. Headset modules can be located in any number of positions for easy headset plug-in, and an external headset module is supported. Headsets can be interfaced with a handheld radio if desired.

If the vehicle needs more than one radio, auxiliary devices, a remote head or wireless headsets through a Wireless Base Station, choose a 5000D Series Digital Intercom, which supports up to four radios and up to four auxiliary devices, including a cell phone.

Firecom wired headsets from the 50-Series. Choose radio transmit or listen-only radio per position: an FH-51 or UH-51 for a position that transmits on the radio, an FH-52, UH-52, FH-54 or UH-54 for listen-only radio. See 50-Series Wired Headsets.
