A pocket-sized DECT unit that brings a standard wired or Bluetooth headset into a FIRECOM team — 24 hours of battery, 800 feet of range, watertight.
What it is for+
Positions where a full fire headset is the wrong tool. In an ambulance patient compartment, at an incident command vehicle, or on an officer who needs to stay reachable but is not standing in engine noise, Firecom Connect brings that person into the same full-duplex team using the headset they already wear.
What it needs+
Firecom Connect requires a third-party headset — Bluetooth or wired — which is not included. FIRECOM sells a Poly Blackwire corded headset for the role. It joins a FIRECOM DECT system, so it is specified alongside a wireless base station or a ComHub, not on its own.

Product overview
Firecom Connect solves a specific problem: not every position on a call needs a 24dB fire headset, but every position needs to hear the team. It is a lightweight, portable, watertight DECT unit that takes a wired or Bluetooth headset you already own and puts that person into the same hands-free, full-duplex FIRECOM team as the crew wearing full headsets.
The practical version of that is an ambulance. A medic working in the patient compartment can talk to the driver and to command without shouting through a bulkhead and without wearing hearing protection they do not need. The same applies to an incident command vehicle, a safety officer, or anyone whose job is coordination rather than standing next to a working pump.
The specifications are the ones that matter for a shift: 24 hours of battery life and 800 feet of range. An auto noise gate continuously adjusts the mic reduction setting, so a Connect user in a moving vehicle does not fill the channel with road noise. And because it integrates with your two-way radio and the rest of the FIRECOM system, it extends radio reach rather than living beside it.
