Product overview
Give command, crew and dispatch instant communication with each other when crucial seconds count. The 505 uses DECT7 wireless technology to connect your crew in the apparatus and on scene. Stereo Listen-Through microphones provide situational awareness and face-to-face communication without removing your hearing protection. Directly connect any portable radio with a PR interface cable (sold separately).
Improved voice clarity, advanced hearing protection and a "set-and-forget" automatic noise gate make the 505 an indispensable communication and safety tool. Both models have 24dB NRR hearing protection, up to 1,600 feet of line-of-sight range and up to 24 hours of battery life. The 505 does not include Wireless Bluetooth.
The FHW505.V2 converts between over-the-head and behind-the-head wear. The UHW505.V2 is worn under the helmet. Both list at $945.
For Wireless Bluetooth, see the 507 models. For positions that should never transmit on the radio, see the 503 Intercom-Only headset. The headsets connect through a WB505R.V2 Wireless Base Station and a 5000D Series Digital Intercom.
